北京时间2006年2月23日，Google发布一款免费的在线网页创建工具，用户可以通过此工具可以在短短数分钟内创建自己的网页或出版物，且不受任何时间和地点的限制，只要能上网就能制作出精美的网页，Google将此工具命名为Google Page Creator，地址为http://pages.google.com/，目前尚处于公开测试阶段。
除免费提供制作工具之外，Google还为每一位Gmail用户配备了100M的网页存储空间，用户在使用Google Page Creator制作页面时，仅通过浏览器就能完成页面的制作、图片上传、发布等所有工序，无需安装任何桌面软件。Google Page Creator里内置了很多网页模板，用户可以随意选择，同时，也支持通过HTML的方式创建和修改网页、上传图片及网页元素的整合管理，在页面制作完成后还可以选择发布到互联网或是发送给朋友，而所有这一切对用户来说都是完全免费的。
